Devon Yoga Festival.

After many successful Devon Yoga Festival events, we have finally decided to call it a day.

The festival would like to thank all attendees over the years during which time we together donated over £10,000 to our chosen charities: Fundraising

Although the festival is no long running, we are pleased to share our Autumn Devon School of Yoga Retreat Weekend which is held at the wonderful Rill Estate.

The Devon Yoga Festival was a not-for-profit and non-commercial event that celebrated and embraced the holistic practices of yoga. The festival was set in an idyllic location at the Rill Estate near Buckfastleigh on the edge of Dartmoor and offered comfortable residential accommodation, delicious vegetarian cuisine and a full timetable of inspiring yoga workshops, talks, music and kirtan.

Proceeds from the festival went to the Ganga Prem (the only cancer hospice in North India). The Ganga Prem is based near Rishikesh and has a holisitic, spiritual approach to cancer care. Proceeds also went to the Glacier Trust (developing sustainable practices in Nepalese hill farming communities).

“There was a great choice of workshops, at times it was hard to choose and I could probably have filled another couple of days trying everything.  It was good that some workshops were repeated, I managed to do most classes I wanted to. The teachers were really inspiring, I met some lovely people and had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend.  The venue was lovely. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and perfect for our visit.  The food during the festival was outstanding.”
